Mr. Seye Fadahunsi, Executive Director - Pillar Oil Limited (Operator of Umuseti/Igbuku Marginal Field), will be speaking on the topic: “Marginal Field Acquisition, Funding and Development: Do’s and Don’ts from a Hands-on Perspective”
Mr. Pade Durotoye, CEO, Oando Exploration and Production Limited (OEPL) is speaking on: ‘Nigerian Independents: An Attractive Option for Foreign Partnerships?’
Seye Fadahunsi is a distinguished oil and gas professional with over 25 years’ experience in oil and gas industry. He Co – founded Pillar Oil, the third company in the Marginal Field Class of 2003 to reach first oil.
He is also the founder of the E & P consulting firm, Energy and Mineral Resources Limited (EMR) and the current Vice-President of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).
An ex-Shell and ex-Statoil geooscientist, who has worked in both the exploration and production functions in Nigeria, Netherlands and Norway. As General Manager E & P in South Atlantic Petroleum (SAPETRO) in 1999, he midwifed the establishment of the organization and participated actively in the discovery and appraisal of the giant Akpo deepwater field (circa 600 million barrels of condensate and 1 trillion cubic feet of gas).
He has extensive experience in oil and gas asset management and a proven track record in the management of start-up companies from the fledgling stage to stable and profitable operations.
Pade Durotoye is the Chief Executive Officer of Oando Exploration & Production Limited, the upstream subsidiary of Oando PLC which upstream portfolio include 13 licenses for the exploration, development and production of oil and gas assets located onshore, swamp, and offshore; prolific 2P reserves and 2C resources from a portfolio of Producing, near term and Exploration assets within the Niger Delta, Nigeria/Sao-Tome JDZ and DRSTP EEZ; and a 15% and 45% working interest in OML 125 and OML 56 respectively which are currently producing assets.
OEPL is also a Nigerian Content Partner with AGIP on OPL 282 and has a 45% interest in a marginal field, OML 56. These fields are in different stages of development and will significantly increase
Prior to joining OEPL in June 2010, Pade served as the MD/CEO of Ocean and Oil Holdings Group from 2006 and Schlumberger Oilfield Services where he held various Management roles while working and living in 8 countries in Africa, Europe and the Far East.
