With the endorsement by the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia, Rich Africa Consultancy is proud to announce and host Namibia’s first Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition taking place in Windhoek from 6-7 September 2012. Aptly themed ‘The Road to Discovery and Beyond’, this conference seeks to explore the implications, opportunities and challenges associated with the discovery of oil and gas in Namibia. Ultimately, this initiative will establish the foundation for developing a framework for the sustainable management, development and investment of Namibia’s natural resources.
This Conference is the first in Namibia and forms part of Rich Africa Consultancy’s annual/biennial calendar of strategic initiatives. It presents key stakeholders with an opportunity to generate more attention to an emerging oil and gas province. More importantly, it is an opportunity to attract and facilitate investments to Namibia’s oil and gas industry and thereby strategically position Namibia’s readiness to efficiently and effectively manage petroleum resources.
