According to BP: On June 18, over 150 energy industry leaders gathered in Washington, D.C. for the Next Generation Energy Forum, sponsored by BP Alternative Energy and AtlanticLIVE. The event fostered discussion about the growing role of renewable power across the globe and governments' influence on the alternative energy market. Speakers such as Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and former EPA Chief Carol Browner talked about the importance of advocating green energy policies.
