Oil-KTOBERFEST: Strictly Oil Served :)

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. On behalf of the team I welcome you to a new and exciting month on 'The Mix: Oil and Water!'. It's OCTOBER!!! ...Yes, it's the start of the last quarter for the year 2011. As is the new practice we will whet your appetites for the upcoming month by highlighting the features of the community and by giving a preview of the content planned for the month. Today - as Nigeria celebrates its 51st independence day- 'The Mix: Oil and Water!' remembers that it is a proudly Nigerian initiative but internationally focused; with an international vision and participation. We hope to aid and develop Oil & Gas, Natural and Extractive Industry discourse with our internationally dimensioned discussions. We are also excited at the prospects for Nigeria developing into a stronger leader in the international discourse on these subjects with the continued growth of the Lagos Oil Club; and the emergence of the Ghana Oil Club and the Uganda Oil Club. This is an 'Africa Rising'- to take its place authoritatively and indeed on the international Oil & Gas map. Exciting days ahead.
