Norway is a core area for Marathon Oil. We operate 10 licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. A significant milestone was achieved in December 2012 when the Alvheim floating, production, storing and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea processed its 200 millionth barrel of oil since start up in June 2008.
