EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Q & A with Paul Parks


Our guest speaker for the SEPTEMBER edition of The Lagos Oil Club Q+A session is Mr. Paul Parks, Partner, Carbon Limits AS Norway and Managing Director, Carbon Limits Nigeria. 

Mr. Parks is responsible for managing the largest CDM gas flare reduction projects in sub-Saharan Africa.


He has over twenty-five years of experience in the energy sector working with oil and gas companies, international organizations and government. His work included Chief Economist for the largest gas transmission company in North America, as senior expert for the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris on oil market issues. He served in the US State Department in the Clinton Administration and then worked on development projects in Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. 

Mr. Parks has a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University, as well as undergraduate degrees in Geology and Economics.

  2. Count me in. This guy is a genius in his field, I read somewhere that he worked on CDM gas flare reduction projects in Nigeria and globally for more than 5 years. I'll definitely learn a lot from him. flare pilot
